I%26#39;m feeling more than a little overwhelmed by the size of Tokyo and am wondering which area to stay in(an area ';central';, if such a place exists). Close to good bars(not clubs) and better food(local of course, no western, french, etc), of all kinds from street vendors to five star. If you could throw in an actual hotel recommendation all the better(under $300 US preferably). Thanks!!!

There are many hotel options. Please read hotel reviews in the Tokyo Hotels section of this web site. Also cruise through previous posts on this forum.
