Anyone booked Sapporo Aspen Hotel directly with the hotel?

Hello,

Looking in to booking a room at the Sapporo Aspen Hotel for an upcoming trip. When I click their ';Reservation'; icon on their website, it directs me to Rakuten travel. The only thing is Rakuten require full prepayment by credit card, I prefer to pay on arrival/check out and as such have always booked directly with hotels. Has anyone booked direct with the hotel? I have sent emails(in English) to the hotel%26#39;s info email address, but no reply. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
