I%26#39;m trying to decide between Mt Koya, Mt Yoshino or somewhere else for a day trip from Osaka.
Last time we were in Japan we went to Nara, Kyoto, Himeji, Hiroshima amd Miyajima so they%26#39;re off the list this time, except for Kyoto which we%26#39;ll visit again.
Is Mt Koya too far to go for a day trip? Over 2 hours travel by the sound of it - may be too much time on transport and not enough time to see everything? (Don%26#39;t want to stay overnight at a temple).
Is Mt Yoshino as interesting as Mt Koya? Has anyone been to both and would like to comment? There%26#39;s also Kurashiki which sounds like a nice day trip.
