The best sakura spots in Osaka:

Osaka Castle Park; 4,300 cherry trees.

Kema Sakuranomiya Park; 4,800 cherry trees.

Banpaku Kinen Park; 5,500 cherry trees.

The Osaka Mint with 370 cherry trees is not open to the public until the second week of April.

The Osaka Castle area will be beautiful, unfortunately thousands of others agree so you may not get into the castle without dealing with long lines. Not a problem, there are many others and they%26#39;re all about the same. Look for any river flowing through the cities. The trees there hang over the river with petals floating along with no crowds.

Agree with the above. In your case, you should hit Midosuji Avenue and then walk up north to Yodoyabashi. In here you%26#39;d be amazed at the views of the riverbank. On your right-hand side on the river is Nakanoshima Park, where people gather around for cherry blossoms. If you head from here to the casle, which is a good 30min walk, you%26#39;ll be astounded by the beauty you spot on the both the riverbanks. I wouldn%26#39;t miss it for the world.

Enjoy your time!

Hi,

Thanks everyone for the advice, will try to go the above places and catch sakura.

If you have spare time in Osaka, consider doing a side-trip to Yoshino. With over 30,000 trees, it is considered a pilgrimage place for cherry blossom by the people of Japan. Yoshino can be reached by direct train from Osaka in less than 1.5 hr.
